Joe Maye is a singer from Baltimore, Maryland who was a contestant on Season 10 of The Voice. He is a member of Team Blake.
Background[]
In middle school, Joe had his first singing experience when he joined the school choir. He spent most of high school performing in musicals and even got a job after graduating high school as a singing waiter on an entertainment cruise in Baltimore's harbor. Although he auditioned for Season 9, Joe was unable to turn a chair because the coaches worried that he concentrated too much on dancing and not enough on vocals. Joe has spent time concentrating on his voice, hoping to yield a better result for Season 10.
